Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.

For over a 100 years, Alpha Omega Chapter has had a distinguished history in Washington, D.C. Alpha Omega’s members have won national recognition for their ambitious programs and reclamation efforts, and the chapter has been home to most of the founders, including Founder Edgar A. Love, as well as to contemporary international and district officers.

Talent Hunt

 

The Talent Hunt Program is one of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated's nationally mandated programs. Through it, Alpha Omega Chapter identifies, encourages, and rewards talented high school students in the performing arts — vocal and instrumental music, dance, drama, and dramatic interpretation — who might otherwise go unrecognized.

Chapter winners advance to compete at the Third District level, and district winners advance to the international competition held during the Fraternity's Grand Conclave. Scholarship awards are presented at each level.

Who Can Participate

  • Students currently enrolled in grades 9 through 12
  • Attending a Washington, D.C. area high school
  • Performing in one of the recognized categories below
  • No entry fee is required to compete
