Bio:

Janice B. Harris, RN, MSN, CDCES, is the Program Director of the Howard University Hospital Diabetes Treatment Center. Ms. Harris has over 20 years of experience in diabetes education and program management, focusing on providing equitable care and education to the underserved. Ms. Harris is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist and holds certifications in insulin pump training and continuous glucose monitoring. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Hampton University and her master’s in nursing from Howard University. Ms. Harris is a member of the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists, Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
